We are the web space platform operating from the website address: https://theeverlastingpoo.info
Cookies and GDPR compliance
We are GDPR compliant. and run the information first on a permissions banner with the following information:
“Regarding your privacy in a somewhat parasitic online environment”
We use only necessary (legal always-active) cookies to run and secure our website for you.
But, because we provide YouTube embeded content and YouTube comes with third party cookies, we have blocked this content, as it needs your consent first. (GDPR compliance)… Therefore choose…
“Necessary” (only the always-active)… “Customise” (an option to select both ‘functional’ & ‘advertisement’ to see YouTube content)… “Allow All” (consent to use all, including uncategorised cookies).
After choosing, a little blue circle will appear… bottom left… where you can change your consent preferences… (still here? cheers, love you).
Keynotes here are:
* the site itself is designed as ‘not parasitic’ and uses only “Necessary” cookies (GDPR exempt), to run.
* but… to watch the YouTube videos on this site (because we’ve initially blocked their third party cookies)… will need your minimum permission in “Customise” by allowing both “Functional” & “Advertisement”.
This can be acheived via the initial banner or at anytime after via the little blue round tab found hanging around the bottom left corner of your browser. It has the title as “Consent Preferences”.
The theme we use is also GDPR compliant including its own fonts. Also Google fonts are held on server so Google doesn’t make enquiries in this respect.
